Churches of Berks is a photojournal project to catalog all places of worship in Berks County, Pennsylvania.  You can see a gallery of all of the churches I have photographed so far - or use the maps below to navigate.  When viewing individual galleries, the best way to view pictures is to use the slideshow feature.

The primary map lists all places of worship by name but there are also maps that group places by faith tradition, which show the diversity of beliefs in Berks County.  Although all of the maps are embedded below, you might want to view the maps full screen since they are easier to navigate that way.

If you believe that I have mislabeled or miscategorized a church (which can happen, especially for nondenominational Protestant churches), please send me an email and I will update it.

When this project is complete, my goal is to publish a book with a nice selection of pictures from the project (click here if you would like to receive more information about the book).  I am available to take pictures of church interiors.
